Launch of first bootcamp fencing station

Join us at the launch event for the first fencing station at Productivity Bootcamp in Penrith, NSW will be held in February.

Productivity Bootcamp is an intensive program that provides hands-on training to arm young people with the skills and work ethic required to be productive work-ready employees.

FENCiT is working with fencing product manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, industry professionals, mentors and technical experts to set up quality stations for all types of fencing to help train these future young fencers.

In addition to the NSW site, Bootcamp fencing stations are also planned for Queensland (in conjunction with TAFE QLD) and Western Australia in 2020.

Companies interested in getting involved in this initiative by creating fencing stations for their own fencing types can email sherrie@fencit.com.au.

The first fencing station has been set up with an official launch event planned for February 2020.

This event will launch the first fencing station for the project, in partnership with COLORBOND®.

O’Brien Fencing, a licensed contractor from Penrith, will be working with the Bootcamp team to create the COLORBOND® fencing station.

Corey from O’Brien Fencing will provide the initial training for the Bootcamp team by erecting the first COLORBOND® fencing station and will be providing follow up support to the young Bootcampers throughout the coming year.

COLORBOND® have said they are excited to be part of this great initiative to help these young people have hands-on learning about the fencing industry and the potential it offers them for future employment.

Call or text Steve on 0429 665 302 if you would like to attend the launch.
