Overview of the project
A boundary fence between an earth moving contractor and a retired farmer.
A recent windstorm had damaged a less than 20 years old 1800 high timber fence.
The client requested a COLORBOND® steel fence due to having issues with palings falling off previously.
Challenges involved
The client who runs his own earth moving business had the ability to remove and construct a new fence but didn’t want the hassle and wanted to keep it neutral with his neighbour, so he outsourced the contract to a fencing company.
The COLORBOND® steel fence had to withstand wind and other elements, so the fence was built with 65×65 powder coated black steel posts every second panel.
Products utilised
Evans Fencing replaced the fencing with an 1800h COLORBOND® steel fence in a trimdeck profile in the colours Nightsky® (posts and rails) and Woodland Grey® (infill sheets).
Products suppliers
COLORBOND® steel was supplied by FNW Steeline Toowoomba. Blake and the team go out of their way to provide great service.
Outcome of project for the customer
Both client and neighbour were happy with the end result and agreed it added value to their properties.
